Chili Cheese Fries
Today I have a small additional recipe for my Chili Con Carne, which I made 1-2 months ago. The preparation is almost the same, only that we add delicious Fries and cheese at the end. Definitely a super delicious snack for me. Although not quite so healthy :'D

I took the amount of ingredients from the original recipe. Of course, you don't have to use all of the Chili Con Carne to make the Chili Cheese Fries. For example, I like to freeze a part of the chili so I don't have to cook it all over again every time I want to eat Chili Cheese Fries :D

Ingredients for about 5 people (If you have to cook the chili con carne. Otherwise around 250g Chili Con Carne per serving)

1kg Minced Meat
2 Onions
2-3 Chili Peppers
2-3 Garlic Cloves
3 Cans Tomatoes
1 Can Red Beans
Fries (About 150g per serving)
Mozzarella (more or less depending on your preference)
2-3 Tsp Chilli Powder
1 Tsp Cumin (Ground)
1 Tsp Salt
1 Tsp Pepper
1 Tsp Cinnamon
1 Tsp Sugar
Some Olive Oil

Preparation

The preparation of the Chili Cheese Fries is as mentioned above almost identical to the Chili Con Carne and is therefore quite simple.

First cut it to shred the vegetables and if necessary, remove the seeds of the chili peppers. However, if you like spicy food like I do, you can of course also pick it up and add it to the chili.

Now sweat the onions and chili peppers (if you like the semen) in hot oil for a short time and then add the meat. Once this is almost done, stir in the tomatoes and garlic and season the chili.

Now let it boil briefly before you reduce the heat to a low level. The chili should now simmer for a good 60 minutes before adding the drained beans and simmering the chili for another 30-60 minutes. If you like, you can also add corn to the chili with the beans. But that's optional and a matter of taste.

If the Chili Con Carne is still too watery after about 2 hours and you want something "firmer", just scoop off some of the liquid and stir well with some of the starches. Then stir this mixture back into the chili and cook it for a few more minutes. The chili should then get a little more binding.

When you have done that, you can bake or deep fry your fries. As soon as they are golden brown and crispy, you put the chips on a deep plate or in a bowl, seasoning them with salt, pepper or whatever you have in the house and like. Then you distribute some of the chili con carne on the fries followed by the cheese. Put everything together in the oven until the cheese has melted.
