French Mousse Au Chocolat
Ingredients for 2 servings
100g Dark Chocolate (At least 70%)
3 Fresh Eggs
The preparation for the chocolate mousse is very simple. Put some water into a small pot and a bowl on top of it. This must not touch the water in the pot. Now cut the chocolate into small pieces and put them into the bowl. Heat the pot lightly so that the chocolate can melt very slowly at low heat.
While this happens, you separate the eggs and beat the egg white till stiff followed by slowly adding the sugar.
Now fill the melted chocolate in another bowl and let it cool down for a very short moment before you mix in the egg yolk and about 1/4 of the egg white. Then gently fold in the rest of the egg white and pour the chocolate into some glass bowls. Put the mousse into the fridge for at least 4 hours.
Since raw eggs are used in this recipe, I highly recommend to consume the Mousse Au Chocolat on the same day.
