Microwave Speculoos Porridge
This week I will start with a small video series that I have been working on for the last few weeks. During the next weeks, I will publish six new recipes which you can easily and fast prepare in the microwave. This week I want to start with a simple Christmas Porridge made with delicious speculoos cookies.

230ml Milk (Room Temperature)
60g Oats
3-4 Speculoos
2 Tsp Honey
Pinch of Salt

The preparation for the microwave porridge is extremely simple. The only thing you should keep in mind is to definitely use a large bowl for this recipe because the porridge can and most likely will bubble a lot in the microwave and could easily overflow when you use a bowl that is too small.

First, mix the oats with the milk and the salt in a big bowl and put it in the microwave for 90 seconds at 700 Watt. Stir everything a bit and repeat this step one more time. If you use cold milk out of the fridge, you should repeat this step twice instead of only once.

When you've done that, you can crumble the speculoos and add them to the milk mix along with the honey. Put the bowl one last time for 90 seconds in the microwave and you are ready to enjoy your Christmas speculoos porridge :)
