Mushroom Noodle Casserole
250g Minced Meat (Mixed Pork / Beef) / Alternative 1-2 Zucchini (Vegetarian version)
100-150g Mozzarella (I forgot to mention it in the video)
100g Cream Cheese
3 Green Onions
2 Chili Peppers
Salt, Pepper and Nutmeg
Some Vegetable Oil
Start by cutting the vegetables and the mushrooms. At the same time, you should also cook the noodles in salted water. Once the vegetables are cut, heat some oil in a pan and add the onions and the chilies. Fry them for about 2 minutes at medium to high heat before stirring in the meat. After a few minutes at same temperature, the meat should be almost done and you can take it out of the pan together with the vegetables.
Now it's time to fry the mushrooms on high heat for about 2-3 minutes. Once the mushrooms have lost a big amount of their liquid and shrunk, put the meat back in the pan and mix it with the mushrooms. In the next step add the cheese to the pan and stir everything together.
Now you only have to add the cooked and drained noodles with the remaining ingredients in the pan and put them all together in a casserole dish. Finally, spread some mozzarella over the casserole and put it in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes at 175°C.
If you are vegetarian, you can simply replace the meat with 1-2 zucchini. Simply cut them into thin slices and handles them just like the meat.
