Pasta Aglio Olio - Classic or with Shrimps

150-200g Linguine
200g Shrimps (Optional)
50-100g Olives (Optional)
1 Hot Pepper
3 Garlic Cloves
3 Tbsp Chopped Parsley
3-4 Tbsp Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper

(ATTENTION: If you want to make the classic version of the Pasta Aglio Olio which is also vegan, simply skip the shrimps in this recipe)

Start by cooking the noodles in a big pot with water and salt. After cooking, keep about 125 ml of the water where the noodles cooked in.

In the meantime you can fry the shrimps in some olive oil for about 4-5 minutes at medium heat. At the same time you can chop the garlic, hot pepper plus the parsley and mix it all with the shrimps followed by the noodles, the noodle water and some more oil if you like.

Now let the pasta boil until the water is vaporized then season it with some salt and pepper.
